As a symphony conductor in Maestro, your job is to bring to life the many classical and popular music from the past and present. In “Doom Bound,” you’re tasked with bringing the music from Middle-earth and Westeros to life as you wield your baton and direct musicians on the stage.

Transport the audience into the world of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring as they imagine themselves in Moria, watching the Fellowship fight against Orcs, flee from the Balrog, run across the Bridge of Khazad-dûm, and mourn the loss of Gandalf. *cue tear falling from Frodo’s face.*

In addition to the new tracks, Maestro offers new customizations and aesthetics to complement the music. For example, the orchestra members are clad in warrior gear as they perform the emotional music from the popular fantasy worlds.

Maestro has received very positive reviews from players via Steam and Metacritic. The game is now available on Quest, Steam, and Pico.

Synopsis: Set 183 years before the events chronicled in the original trilogy of films, “The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim” tells the fate of the House of Helm Hammerhand, the legendary King of Rohan. The teaser trailer is very light on details, but we do see a woman illustrating a female Hobbit inside a sketchbook. Her table is filled with art tools and a pair of headphones.

Not much else is known about the game, but Wētā Workshop and Private Division will have more details next year in 2024.

Inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit books, the video game will be available in 2024 on console and PC.
