Marvel Studios Announcements at D23 Expo

Marvel Studios made some announcements at D23 Expo. Here's what was revealed during the showcase.

Matt Shakman Officially in as Director of Fantastic Four.

Ke Huy Quan (Indiana Jones in the Temple of Doom) Joins the Cast of Loki Season 2.

After Don Cheadle went onstage to help announce Secret Invasion, he stayed on stage to announce Armor Wars. Feige revealed that Secret Invasion will lead directly into Armor Wars. 

The battle magic versus technology will be at the forefront of Ironheart. This notable battle of opposing forces has always been a constant struggle in the Iron Man comics.

There was body swapping at the end of Ms. Marvel, and that will play into the movie featuring Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel and Monica Rambeau.

The preview brings Echo back to her hometown and features a lot of Native American imagery and Echo kicking a lot of butts. The footage ends with the return of Kingpin—who’s wearing an eye patch.

Anthony Mackie is back as Captain America. Isaiah Bradley (Carl Lumbly) and Joaquin Torres (Danny Ramirez) will join. Finally, Tim Blake Nelson is returning to the MCU as The Leader.

Cassie built a device that is like a 2-way radio between our world and the quantum realm. Upon hearing that, Janet van Dyne tells Cassie to shut the device down. Unfortunately, it was too late, and they get sucked into the quantum realm.

Wakandans must fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers lusting for their rich reserve of vibranium in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. Of course, those countries would also include the Kingdom of Atlantis.

For now, Marvel fans can watch She-Hulk: Attorney at Law on Disney+.
