Brad Allan: Why He Was Honored in Shang-Chi's End Credits

At the end of the end credits for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, there was a tribute for Brad Allan.

Audiences are raving about the fight scenes in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. They can thank Brad Allan for that.

Brad Allan is the Supervising Stunt Coordinator and is responsible for incorporating one of the best fight scenes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

What made the action really stellar are the fast fight choreography, long cuts and smooth camera movements.

Allan was the stunt coordinator for the upcoming The King’s Man, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, and Kingsman: The Secret Service. The stunt performer and coordinator passed away at the age of 48 on August 7, 2021.

Allan was one of Jackie Chan’s apprentices and eventually joined the ranks of the Jackie Chan Stunt Team. He did stunts in many of Chan’s films.

Allan’s passing was very recent, but Marvel Studios was able to add a tribute to the stuntman in the end credits.

As the supervising stunt coordinator, Allan brought different martial arts styles to the film including bringing in Tai chi experts for the scenes involving Tony Leung and Fala Chen’s wuxia-style fight scenes.

With Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings now out in theaters, the whole world can see his legacy live on.
