On Monday, February 3, Quan will have his hands and feet immortalized in cement at TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX on Hollywood Blvd. The ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m. Everything Everywhere All at Once directors Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert (the Daniels) will have remarks for the actor.

The TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX handprints-footprints tribute is very selective in who it picks, with only around 250 being honored. George Takei made history by being the first Asian American actor to receive the honor in 1991. A few Asian and Asian American actors and filmmakers have joined the list including Jackie Chan, James Hong, and directors John Woo and Justin Lin.

In Love Hurts, Quan portrays Marvin Gable, a seemingly mild-mannered realtor with a dark secret that he is desperate to leave behind. His past will eventually catch up to him.

The film is directed by Jonathan Eusebio and stars Ariana DeBose, Daniel Wu, Marshawn “Beastmode” Lynch, Mustafa Shakir, Lio Tipton, Rhys Darby, André Eriksen and Sean Astin.

Love Hurts releases in theaters on February 7, 2025.

Grier plays Dr. Ron, an Emergency Doctor and a down-on-his-luck divorcee.

“I mean, my goal is always to say yes to a good script,” David Alan Grier said during the NBC TCA Summer Tour on Sunday, July 14th. “So it just happened that I was a doctor. It also happens that the character — we all know, there are some characters that you read and you think I can reach or get to. There are other characters that you just know, and this guy, he’s an old curmudgeon. That’s me. No, it wasn’t the medical stuff. That was incidental. I just responded to the script, and I say this begrudgingly. It was good. It was well written. It was intelligent.”

McLendon-Covey is Joyce, the executive director of the hospital and a former oncological surgeon with big ambitions for St. Denis Medical.

“All I wanted was to not play another mom right away because I did that for a long time,” McLendon-Covey said. “I think it’s well-documented that I can play moms, and respect to all moms everywhere. What I loved about this character is that she is not nurturing at all. Don’t come near her wanting a hug. She does not want your germs and she cannot keep a plant alive, but she is devoted to this hospital. That’s her baby, and this is her whole personality. So the fact that this came along right at the tail end of “The Goldbergs,” I’m the luckiest person in the world. I was not being strategic, necessarily. I just knew I didn’t want to be in the ’80s again since I’ve done it twice now and this was just such a gift.”

Business Insider correspondent Jason Guerrasio says the film “is worthy of all the hype.”

Today, Universal Pictures has released three comedic videos, showcasing stars Ryan Gosling, Emily Blunt and Hannah Waddingham, and director Leitch as they develop marketing ideas for the movie. These include marketing the marketing for a movie about movies, recruiting social media celebrities Khaby Lame and Dude with Sign, and bringing basketball superstars Jalen Brunson and Julius Randall to prove that they’re real movie buffs.

About The Fall Guy

The film is directed by David Leitch, a former stuntman who is now a director with credits including Bullet Train, Deadpool 2, Atomic Blonde and Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.

Ryan Gosling (Barbie, La La Land, Drive) stars as Colt Seavers, a battle-scarred stuntman who, having left the business a year earlier to focus on both his physical and mental health, is drafted back into service when the star of a mega-budget studio movie—being directed by his ex, Jody Moreno, played Emily Blunt (Oppenheimer, A Quiet Place films, Sicario)—goes missing.

The espionage techno-thriller was announced as a straight-to-order series and is executive produced by James Wan (The Conjuring, Aquaman) and Simu Liu (Barbie, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings). Liu stars as first-generation-American intelligence analyst Alexander Hale, who finds out his brain is hacked, giving the attacker access to everything he hears and sees.

The series is created, written and executive produced by Thomas Brandon (Legacies). Joining Wan under Atomic Monster as executive producers are Michael Clear (M3GAN, Swamp Thing) and Rob Hackett (Archive 81, I Know What You Did Last Summer). Danielle will oversee production for Atomic Monster.

Synopsis: Five minutes in the future, a first-generation-American intelligence analyst Alexander Hale (Simu Liu) realizes his brain has been hacked, giving the perpetrators access to everything he sees and hears. Caught between his shadowy agency and the unknown hackers, he must maintain a performance 24/7 to flush out who’s responsible and prove where his allegiance lies.
