Ben Affleck’s ‘Air’ Trailer Follows Nike and Michael Jordan Partnership

Air Jordan is a basketball shoe line that was a collaboration between Nike and Michael Jordan. It was a pioneer in the sneaker culture, and fans were able to check out its origins with documentaries like Unbanned: The Legend of AJ1 and One Man and His Shoes. Today, Amazon Studios has released the trailer for Air, the Ben Affleck-directed flick about the origin of Air Jordan. Not only is it a reunion between Affleck and Matt Damon, but it also marks the first time Affleck is directing his longtime friend.

The film is directed by Ben Affleck and written by Alex Convery. It’s produced by David Ellison, Jesse Sisgold, Jon Weinbach, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Madison Ainley, Jeff Robinov, Peter Guber, and Jason Michael Berman.

AIR will be released in theaters worldwide on April 5, 2023, in advance of its premiere worldwide on Prime Video.
