Zachary Levi and the Marvel Family are back in Shazam! Fury of the Gods, a sequel that pits them against a powerful threat. Today Warner Bros. has dropped the official second trailer that gives audiences a bit more of what dangers our heroes will be facing. The heroes will be put to the test, and based on the new trailer, their adventures will be the most emotional and intense yet.

In the trailer, we see how powerful the big bad villains are, and the Daughters of Atlas have made it hard for Billy, aka Shazam, to do his superhero duties. It’s gotten to the point where he is overwhelmed, with little hope of defeating them and saving the world.

The first Shazam! film was praised by critics and fans alike, and it grossed $365 million worldwide at the box office. With James Gunn and Peter Safran in charge of DC Studios, they have made some big changes in the DC world including the announcement that Henry Cavill will no longer return as Superman. If Shazam! Fury of the Gods is a hit at the box office and with fans, what will its fate be?
