Everything Everywhere All at Once Leads 2023 Hollywood Critics Association Film Awards Nominations

It’s almost the end of the year, and that means the movie awards season is here. Today, the Hollywood Critics Association has announced the nominations for the 2023 HCA Film Awards, which were revealed on the HCA YouTube channel with Jude Hill (2022 HCA Film Awards Newcomer honoree, Belfast), Jalyn Hall (Till) and Madeleine McGraw (The Black Phone) making the announcements. The films leading the pack with the most nominations include Everything Everywhere All at Once with nine nominations and The Banshees of Inisherin with eight.

A24’s Everything Everywhere All at Once nominations include Best Picture, Best Actress for Michelle Yeoh, Best Supporting Actor for Ke Huy Quan, and dual Best Supporting Actress nominations for Stephanie Hsu and Jamie Lee Curtis.

Searchlight Pictures’ The Banshees of Inisherin’s nominations include Best Picture, Best Actor for Colin Farrell, Best Supporting Actress for Kerry Condon, and Best Director for Martin McDonagh. The Searchlight Pictures film also received a nomination for Best Score last week at the HCA Creative Arts Awards.

Tar, The Woman King, and Women Talking each has five nominations. RRR and The Fabelmans each received four. Other contenders include Top Gun: Maverick, Avatar: The Way of Water, Elvis, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, and more.

Comedian, Actor Tig Notaro (Army of the Dead, Star Trek: Discovery) will host the 2023 HCA Film Awards.

The HCA Film Awards is produced by DIGA Studios and Content.23 Media and live-streamed on the official HCA YouTube channel and HCA App from the historic Beverly Wilshire in Los Angeles, CA on Friday, February 24th beginning at 6 p.m. PST / 9 p.m. EST.
