Los Angeles Comic Con is now over, and it was once again held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. If featured special guests like Simu Liu, Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, and many more. During the event, Ardbeg held a pop-up experience near West Hall where fans could get a taste of the new Planet Ardbeg graphic novel and learn more about the Scotch whiskey brand.

Ardbeg is a Scotch whiskey that has been around for over 200 years and is made on the tiny, remote Scottish Isle of Islay. The pop-up experience was held for three days at Los Angeles Comic Con to celebrate Planet Ardbeg, a 40-page sci-fi anthology. Press, influencers and select fans had the chance to jump into the world that combined whiskey and comics inside immersive rooms with booth representatives decked out in desert gear.

Each area is inspired by the flavors and origin stories of the Ardbeg comics from co-creator Ronald Wimberly. One room had artists that would illustrate characters for guests, another allowed guests to experience the taste of Ardbeg via ingredients like chocolate, etc. More offerings included specialty Ardbeg cocktails, airbrush tattoo sessions, and photo ops.

During the experience, we had the option of tasting the different drinks.
