Skull & Bones Gets Pushed Back Yet Again with 2023 Release

Today, I received an email from PlayStation about the Ubisoft Forward recap. It tells me that I can begin my journey as a pirate and “set sail November 8” for Skull & Bones. Also today, Ubisoft has released a press release announcing that the game is being pushed back to next year. Quit playing games with my heart.

Gamers who have been looking forward to playing the Ubisoft pirate multiplayer game know a thing or two about the game’s long development time. This marks the fifth time the game has been pushed back, and the new release date will be March 9, 2023. It will be available on Windows PC via Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Stadia, and Amazon Luna.

On the plus side, the Open Beta will be available before the game’s launch. Players will get a taste of the pirate adventures including naval combat and sailing in the 17th-century Indian Ocean.

Ubisoft assures that Skull & Bones’ game development is finished at this stage, and the reason for pushing the game back is to further polish and balance the gameplay. This will be done by using player feedback from its Technical tests and Insider Program that happened over the past two weeks.
