Star Trek Day: Picard Final Season Teaser, Strange New Worlds S2 Clip

Today is a big day for Star Trek fans. Star Trek Day has descended upon us and it’s filled with announcements and teasers from upcoming Star Trek shows with talent coming down to the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles to share in the excitement. Patrick Stewart, Will Wheaton, Rebecca Romijn, and the cast from Lower Decks and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds all came down to celebrate the special occasion.

The crowd at the Star Trek Day event was very excited to see what was in store for the Star Trek universe while also reminiscing about the past. There was also a touching tribute to Nichelle Nichols, who played Nyota Uhura in the original Star Trek series.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Clip

For Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, a clip for the second season was released. It features Ortegas, who’s excited to go on an away mission. However, she gets different news from Pike that puts a damper on her mood.

The second season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will debut on Paramount+ in 2023 with 10 episodes. It stars Anson Mount as Christopher Pike, Jess Bush as Christine Chapel, Christina Chong as La’an Noonien-Singh, Rebecca Romijn as Number One, Ethan Peck as Spock, Melissa Navia as Erica Ortegas, Celia Rose Gooding as Nyota Uhura, and Babs Olusanmokun as Dr. M’Benga.

Star Trek: Picard

The final season of Picard is almost upon us, and Patrick Stewart, Jeri Ryan, and Michelle Hurd were on stage to chat about the world of Star Trek while also giving us a taste of what’s to come.

The upcoming season will have Stewart as Jean-Luc Picard and Jonathan Frakes as William Riker boarding the U.S.S. Titan. Joining Stewart, Frakes, Ryan, and Hurd are LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis, and Brent Spiner.

Star Trek: Picard will premiere on Paramount+ on Thursday, February 16th in the U.S.
