HyperX Announces First Line of Gaming Monitors, Armada

This week has been a huge week for gaming, especially with Gamescom kicking off in Germany with many new trailers and announcements for New Tales from the Borderlands, Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game, Hogwarts Legacy, and more. HyperX, the gaming peripherals team at HP Inc, has some exciting news with its Armada Gaming monitors, making it the brand’s first gaming monitor lineup.

The Armada gaming monitors include the HyperX Armada 25 and HyperX Armada 27, with the former focusing on 1080 Full HD gaming and the latter on 1440 QHD gaming. The monitors will be compatible with NVIDIA G-Sync. In addition, the Armada gaming monitors’ all-in-one package includes the Armada desk mount and the HyperX Armada Single Gaming Mount with an ergonomic Armada arm that is compatible with all HyperX monitors and most displays with VESA 75mm and 100mm patterns.

The HyperX Armada 25 Gaming Monitor features a 24.5-inch FHD (1920×1080) IPS panel with a 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. Its contrast ratio is 1000:1 with 8-bit color depth. It has 1 DisplayPort 1.4 input and 2 HDMI 2.0 inputs. It weighs 6.29 pounds.

The HyperX Armada 27 Gaming Monitor

The HyperX Armada 27 Gaming Monitor features a 27-inch QHD (2560×1440) IPS widescreen and VESA Display HDR 400 with a 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. It has a contrast ratio of 1000:1, brightness of 400 nits, local dimming, and 8-bit color depth. It has a DisplayPort 1.4 input and 2 HDMI 2.0 inputs.
