Rick and Morty Season 6 Has a Release Date

It’s been about a year since we last saw the new adventures of Rick and Morty. In the fifth season, there were lots of death and mayhem involving Rick’s story of vengeance and portal traveling. Fans have been waiting for news of the next season, and they finally get a release date. Today, Adult Swim has announced that Rick and Morty Season Six will be coming out this year in September.

Rick and Morty’s sixth season will have a global premiere date starting on Sunday, September 4, 2022. It will be airing at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT.

“It’s hard to overstate the impact of Rick and Morty. More than a hit show, it is truly a global phenomenon,” said Michael Ouweleen, president of Adult Swim and Cartoon Network. “As we prepare to launch this soon-to-be iconic season, we will be giving fans a unique way to be part of the fun – so keep your eyes peeled.”

The series has been a hit on US cable and HBO Max as one of the top series. So far it has over 10 billion views globally, across linear, digital, and streaming.
