Netflix’s The Gray Man was released on the streaming platform during San Diego Comic-Con week, and to get fans hyped, an escape experience was constructed in Downtown San Diego to capture the action from the film. The Gray Man Training Program is an interactive escape experience set inside a tram car, and guests are tasked with finding a way out.

The tram experience was created by VTProDesign and inspired by the chase scene in The Gray Man. Guests who entered the activation received a medallion, and they were tasked with finding an escape route inside the tram. They will need to test their skills, strength and speed. Once they have escaped, they will then test their running skills to get a top-secret file to safety before time runs out and the enemy wins.

This finale had the guests running on the rooftop of the tram with special effects exploding behind them, all while being safe. The action is captured via a camera zipping across the rope high in the sky which guests can save and share the video file.
