Street Fighter 6 Leaks: Roster and Ken, Cammy Gameplay

A gameplay trailer for Street Fighter 6 was released during the PlayStation’s State of Play yesterday, and just like that, the roster of the 22 fighters looks to be leaked. Two other leaks have surfaced that show off a bit of the gameplay for Ken and Cammy. The leaker was able to capture the video footage from a camera, and the leaks have made fans very excited about the next installment of the Capcom fighting game.

The Roster Artwork Leak

The roster leak shows off old and new characters and their designs, with some fan-favorite characters sporting a really different style.

The top row features Ryu (Japan), Ken (USA), Zangief (Russia), Dhalsim (India), E. Honda (Japan), Blanka (Brazil), Guile (USA), and Chun-Li (China). The middle row has Cammy (UK), Dee Jay (Jamaica), Rashid, Juri (South Korea), Ed (Germany), and Akuma (Japan). And the third row has Luke (USA), Marisa (Italy), Jamie (Hong Kong), Mimi (France), Lily (Mexico), JP (Russia), Kimberly (U.S.A.), and A.K.I. (China).

Ken Select Screen

If you’ve seen Ken in the Street Fighter 6 roster art, his hair is different from his Street Fighter V version. (No more banana hair.) He looks to be as buff as Ryu, and his hair is shaping up to be more detailed and wonderful. As for the Ken leaked footage, it features Ken being selected during the select screen, and he poses with his left index finger raised.

Cammy White Leak

With the roster leak, Cammy fans should definitely be happy for her return. And if the leaked footage is any indication, those who prefer Cammy’s classic outfit will be happy. The short video has her new outfit version fighting her classic outfit version. The latter is seen performing a very special move during a short cutscene.

And there’s already fanart of Cammy White in her new outfit. Here’s one from Kevin Raganit.

The next one is from DaveCave.

The upcoming fighting game is powered by the RE Engine, and it will have three different game modes: Fighting Ground, World Tour and Battle Hub. Arcade Mode, online matches, Training Mode, local versus battles and more will be included in the Fighting Ground. Capcom has revealed so far that World Tour is a single-player immersive story mode where the player avatar can mark their own journey. Battle Hub will allow new ways for players to engage, community and interact.

The game will feature real-time commentary from popular Fighting Game Community commentators like Jeremy “Vicious” Lopez and Ryutaro “Aru” Noda. The commentary will have 13 subtitled languages to choose from.

There will be new gameplay features and enhanced visuals, with new and old control schemes. The new one will make inputs easier where players can execute special moves by combining a button and a directional input (kind of like Smash Brothers). The Drive System is a new core fighting mechanic with a new gauge used for five unique techniques to help with a player’s offense and defense like Drive Impact, Drive Parry, Overdrive Art, Drive Rush and Drive Reversal.

Street Fighter 6 will launch worldwide in 2023 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
