Funko is known for its Pop! vinyl figures and Loungefly is known for its creative mini backpacks. During the Memorial Day weekend, the two brands had a booth at Star Wars Celebration 2022 inside the Anaheim Convention Center. There were cool exclusives for Star Wars fans to peruse with classic characters transformed into adorable toys and backpacks.

Funko and Loungefly shared a booth together filled with giveaways, photo ops, and plenty of exclusive products. Long lines of fans waited to snatch all the merchandise up. For those who wanted a chance to get the Funko and Loungefly products, there were opportunities each day.

“Fans can definitely expect a bit of an experience when they go through our booth,” said Ashley Anderson, the Associate Director of Social Media at Funko. “There are cool photo ops, we have stage presence where we’re giving away prizes and whatnot, and just enjoying the fun of being back at [Star Wars] Celebration.”

The booth restocks daily, giving fans more chances to get the items they want. There were other booths that carried exclusive Pop! figures, like the popular Grogru figure that’s limited to 5,000 pieces.

“The Grogru exclusive at the Reedpop booth has been pretty popular,” she said. “We don’t actually currently carry that here. That’s exclusive to that booth. But everyone’s been loving the five original Star Wars characters in a new way.”

The Funko booth sold the 5 original Star Wars characters as a pack and also individually. The 5-pack was one of the first hot items to quickly sell out each day.

For those who weren’t able to attend Star Wars Celebration 2022, there are other chances to get some of the figures. Retailers will be having the shared exclusives, and the stickers will have the “2022 Galactic Convention Exclusive” wording instead of the “Anaheim 2022 Star Wars Celebration” stickers.

The Lando Calrissian in the Millennium Falcon combo was a popular item at the event, and it is now available to pre-order at Amazon.

The Darth Vader shared exclusive figure, Luke and Boba Fett sodas are available at Funko, Princess Leia at FYE, Luke Skywalker at BoxLunch, Stormtrooper at GameStop, and Chewbacca at Target.

Even though it’s not a convention exclusive, BoxLunch and Amazon have the Luke Skywalker and Grogu Pop! Vinyl figure that’s just too adorable.

Disney Exclusives

Disney had its own shared exclusives with the concept art versions of R2-D2, C-3PO and Darth Vader.

Loungefly featured creative mini backpacks including the C-3PO mini backpack. It captures the scene when Chewbacca carried the droid in Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back.

Other backpacks were from Star Wars: Bad Batch, the animated series that’s available on Disney+.
