CinemaCon 2022: First Extended Look at The Flash

The Flash Title Treatment

Although The Flash is now coming out in 2023, CinemaCon 2022 was still an opportunity for Warner Bros to showcase some footage from Andy Muschietti’s Flash film. After all, this is the first solo outing for DC’s Scarlet Speedster. While the footage features a lot of mayhem and action sequences, there are a lot of tidbits to find in the footage.

First of all, we see a long gray-haired Bruce Wayne (Michael Keaton) open up some bookcases to a collection of bat suits. Not to mention, we see a glimpse of the motorcycle with what may or may not be the Batpod from Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy. On top of all that, we see get our first look at Supergirl and the return of Michael Shannon’s General Zod. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to see Ben Affleck return to the batsuit, but we do see Keaton return in Burton’s iconic Batman suit at the end of the footage.

It’ll be interesting to see what Flash has in store with their own multiverse. After the fun of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the film is sure to be as entertaining—especially seeing the entirety of the DC multiverse interact with each other.
