Gaming Convention RTX Returns to Austin in 2022
RTX is one of the most popular gaming and animation conventions in the world, and the last time guests stepped foot inside the Austin event was in 2019. For the past two years, RTX skipped in-person events and went virtual with RTX at Home due to the current pandemic. In 2022, that’s all about to change. Fans of the Austin gaming convention will get to step foot in real life once again with RTX Austin 2022 (July 1-3, 2022).
When RTX moved to its virtual format with RTX at Home 2020, it garnered over 1.7 million views across RoosterTeeth.com and social media. It jumped up to 2.5 million views for RTX at Home 2021 (that’s a 44% increase from the previous year). With RTX Austin 2022, it will be a hybrid of in-person and virtual events.
Fan-favorite panels will return including Achievement Hunter, RWBY, the Rooster Teeth Podcast and more. To mark the occasion, RTX Austin 2022 is hosting First Night on June 30 filled with Rooster Teeth original premieres and news.
