Death Stranding Director’s Cut Headed to PC in March 2022

Death Stranding is something of a unique gaming experience that received mostly positive reactions from critics and mixed/average reactions from gamers. It’s been made fun of as a “walking simulator”, but there are fans who enjoy the tough terrain and stealth gameplay. For new players and fans of the base game, they had the chance to check out Death Stranding Director’s Cut on the PlayStation 5. Soon, PC players will get to partake in the new version when it hits Steam and Epic Games Store on March 30, 2022 for $39.99.

Death Stranding is an action game by Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions and stars Norman Reedus as Sam Porter Bridges, who’s tasked with bridging America. The Director’s Cut on the PC will have higher frame rates, ultrawide monitor support, and photo mode. It also features an expanded storyline, new stealth missions, combat abilities, equippable items, buildable structures, cosmetic options and more.

The PC version of Death Stranding Director’s Cut is published by 505 Games and will be available for $39.99. If you already have the standard version, you can upgrade to the Director’s Cut for $9.99. Simply have the standard edition of the game installed and head to the in-game store-front to see the discounted price. Additionally, the standard game is on sale (70% off on Steam) during the Lunar Sale, which began yesterday and ends on February 3, 2022.
