Netflix’s Arcane League of Legends Final Trailer, Plus RiotX Arcane Event

League of Legends is a popular MOBA from Riot Games, and the company has expanded the franchise to music including K/DA, the virtual K-pop-inspired girl group featuring Evelynn, Akali, Ahri and Kai’Sa. It has teamed up with Netflix to bring the property to more audiences with Arcane League of Legends, an animated series following League of Legends’ Jinx, Vi, Jayce, Heimerdinger and more. In addition, a new key art was released featuring the many characters from the series.

The final trailer for Arcane shows the two different worlds colliding. Piltover is the rich city of progress, and then there’s Zaun, the underground world. It’s shaping up to be a very dramatic and emotional series.

The key art for Arcane features champions like Jinx, Vi, Caitly, Jayce, and Viktor. Mel and villainous Silko join the pack. On the bottom right, Vi and Powder (young Jinx) look at the view of Piltover.

November is Arcane Month

Riot Games announced today the RiotX Arcane event, an experience that will bring the world of Arcane to many of its products for the month of November. All of Riot’s games will launch with new Arcane-themed product features and updates including League of Legends, League of Legends: Wild Rift, and Legends of Runeterra. It will kick off with the League of Legends World Championship, which brings in gaming, competition and entertainment. The World Championship Show Open will feature Imagine Dragons, PVRIS, Bea Miller, JID, and Denzel Curry, and it will start on Saturday, November 6 at 5 a.m. PT. Viewers can check it out on, YouTube and Twitch.

RiotX Arcane Global Premiere will be held on the same day, and it will start at 5:30 p.m. PT. There will be a red carpet, and Netflix’s Arcane will debut with co-streaming exclusively on Twitch.

Secret Cinema’s Arcane: An Immersive Live Experience

There’s an Arcane in-person immersive live experience coming to Los Angeles. The special event will be held for only 4 weeks starting November 21st, and it promises to recreate the world of Arcane filled with adventures and actors. Riot Games and Netflix have partnered up with Secret Cinema, a London-based company that brings movies and series to life. This is the company’s first foray into a video game franchise. Arcane dives into the delicate balance between the rich city of Piltover and the seedy underbelly of Zaun. Tensions between these city-states boil over with the creation of hextech — a way for any person to control magical energy – in Piltover; and in Zaun, a new drug called shimmer transforms humans into monsters. The series features the voices of Hailee Steinfeld (Vi), Ella Purnell (Jinx), Katie Leung (Caitlyn Kiramman), Kevin Alejandro (Jayce), Harry Lloyd (Viktor), Mick Wingert (Heimerdinger), Brett Tucker (Singed), JB Blanc (Vander), Yuri Lowenthal (Mylo), Roger Craig Smith (Claggor), Shohreh Aghdashloo (Grayson), Remy Hii (Marcus), Toks Olagundoye (Mel Medarda), Jason Spisak (Silco) and Mia Sinclair Jenness (Powder).

The series will be spread out in three weeks, with 3 episodes per act.

  • Act One – Saturday, Nov. 6 at 7:00 pm pt (episodes 1-3)
  • Act Two – Saturday, Nov. 13 at 12:00 am pt (4-6)
  • Act Three – Saturday, Nov. 20 at 12:00 am pt (7-9)
