Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings Featurette Shows Behind-the-Scenes Fight Choreography

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is coming to U.S. theaters this week, and fans will finally get to see the proper “The Mandarin” on the big screen. Played by Hong Kong actor Tony Leung, the villain will be a huge threat to Shang-Chi. The Marvel Studios film features a lot of martial arts action, and it’s shaping up to be a top contender for Hollywood fight scenes this year. This is especially the case with martial arts films like the Mortal Kombat reboot and Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins.

A new featurette, “Ready to Rise,” shows off some quick glimpses of the fighting. There are also quick behind-the-scenes shots of the bus fight sequence. In addition, the video covers what the movie’s about with Director Destin Daniel Cretton, screenwriter Dave Callaham, actors Simu Liu, Michelle Yeoh and Awkwafina.

There’s another video that shows more behind the scenes of the fight choreography in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. This should excite fans wanting to see cool martial arts fights in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Liu shared the short video of his fight choreography on his Instagram, which you can check out below.
