Venom: Let There Be Carnage’s New Trailer Delivers on Carnage

Venom: Let There Be Carnage is the sequel to Venom starring Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock. In the upcoming film, Eddie and Venom will face a new threat, Carnage, who’s played by Woody Harrelson. Sony Pictures has released the second official trailer for the film, and it has plenty more of the villain wreaking havoc.

Eddie and Venom are trying to adjust to life together as a host and symbiote, and the trailer gives audiences a taste of how crazy Cletus Kasady is. Eddie has the chance to chat with the infamous killer, but we see that Kasady bites Eddie, getting a taste of his blood. This is when we start to see the villain’s transformation.

Synopsis: Tom Hardy returns to the big screen as the lethal protector Venom, one of MARVEL’s greatest and most complex characters. Directed by Andy Serkis, the film also stars Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris and Woody Harrelson, in the role of the villain Cletus Kasady/Carnage.

The film is written by Kelly Marcel from a story by Tom Hardy & Kelly Marcel. It’s produced by Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, Kelly Marcel, Tom Hardy and Hutch Parker. It’s executive produced by Barry Waldman, Jonathan Cavendish and Ruben Fleischer.

The film also stars Reid Scott and Stephen Graham.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage will be in U.S. theaters on September 24, 2021.
