New RoboCop Game Coming to Consoles and PC

Dead or alive, you’re coming with me!

RoboCop is an iconic cyborg cop who protects the city of Detroit against villains, and he’s been getting some love in the video game world with the Mortal Kombat franchise. But for those wanting to play as the supercop in his own adventure, they’ll be in for a treat. Today, Nacon, Teyon and MGM have announced their partnership in developing the all-new video game, RoboCop: Rogue City, set for release in 2023 for consoles and PC.

You can check out the teaser trailer below.

The game will be published by Nacon and developed by Teyon, a studio that worked on Terminator: Resistance. Perhaps this will lead to a RoboCop vs Terminator game.

RoboCop: Rogue City will be based on the first three classic films and will feature a new RoboCop story. Expect to play as Alex Murphy, a good cop who was brutally murdered and resurrected by doctors and scientists to become a cyborg cop.

2022 will mark the 35th anniversary of RoboCop, which was first released in 1987.
