New Jurassic World: Dominion poster, plus sneak peek coming to IMAX

Jurassic World: Dominion is the next film in the dinosaur series, and it will be coming to theaters in the summer of 2022. Today, Universal and Amblin Entertainment have released a new poster for the film featuring a mosquito sucking on some dinosaur blood. To get fans excited for the upcoming film, a Special Extended Preview of Jurassic World: Dominion will be shown in front of F9’s IMAX screenings starting June 25th.

The sneak peek will be five minutes long and will be presented in full-screen 1:90:1 IMAX aspect ratio. It will include a prologue to the film’s narrative, set 65 million years ago during the Cretaceous period when dinosaurs roamed the world. The scenes will feature Michael Giacchino’s score and will give us our first look at the live-action version of how the dinosaur DNA was transferred to an ancient mosquito. 7 new species of dinosaurs will be introduced, created by ILM (Industrial Light & Magic).

Also, Trevorrow tweeted an image that there will be feathers.

The film is co-written and directed by Colin Trevorrow, who is executive producing along with Steven Spielberg. The film is produced by Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley.
