Conan O’Brien visits Hideo Kojima for Death Stranding

Conan O'Brien Hideo Kojima Death Stranding

Death Stranding is the highly anticipated PS4 game from Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions, and it features Norman Reedus and Guillermo del Toro. During Conan O’Brien’s trip to Japan, the talk show host had the chance to visit the video game studio and become a part of the game. Team Coco has released a video of Conan’s adventures with Hideo Kojima.

In the video, we get to see Kojima’s office and his toys including an Ultraman figure. He even has his own action figure. Later on, Conan is shown a trailer of the game, and he is shocked by the close-up shot of a baby. He also points out Reedus’ naked body, and Kojima mentions that the actor wanted his muscles to be bigger in the game. And for the final part, Kojima offered Conan the opportunity to become a part of the game. The camera room captured his face, and audiences were shown a clip of Conan talking to Reedus. Let’s hope that the final game will still feature Conan’s likeness.

Kojima has been keeping the story of Death Stranding close to his chest since gameplay videos and trailers have been very confusing. (That’s typical Kojima.) What we do know is that Norman Reedus’ Sam is tasked with uniting America together via networks. He is joined by actors Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux, Margaret Qualley, Tommie Earl Jenkins, Troy Baker, and Lindsay Wagner. Also featured are directors Guillermo del Toro and Nicolas Winding Refn.

Death Stranding is almost upon us since it’ll be out next month. There was a time when fans were excited about Kojima and Reedus working on a Silent Hill game called Silent Hills, but the game was canceled due to the tension between Konami and Kojima.

Death Stranding will be available for the PlayStation 4 on November 8, 2019.
