Skullcandy introduces new Crusher ANC wireless headphone

In 2016, Skullcandy introduced the Crusher Wireless, which came out of the gate with a lot of popularity. It was also a stepping stone for Skullcandy to see what is possible with wireless headphones, which led them to release the Crusher 360 last year, a pair of headphones with immersive technology. Today, Skullcandy has launched its latest addition to the Crusher line with the brand new “Crusher ANC,” a new pair that packs every innovative audio technology you can imagine.

The Crusher ANC redefines the way Audiophiles listen to music by unlocking sound through three different innovative technologies. The new crusher will feature Skullcandy Sensory Bass, Active Noise Cancellation, and Personal Sound. It will be the only headphone that is currently on the market that combines all three technologies. With the Crusher ANC, Skullcandy wants to take listeners to a new dimension when it comes to their music.

Skullcandy’s adjustable sensory bass will give the headphones a wide range of levels that will let users adjust the amount of bass they want to hear and feel, giving the headphones a new meaning of immersive. The active noise cancellation will continuously monitor the environment to filter out any unwanted and excessive external noise, allowing music to sound crisp. An ambient mode will deactivate the ANC allowing listeners to hear and be aware of their surroundings.

Lastly, to give the Crusher ANC a personal flair, the new Skullcandy App will open users to auditory customization which adapts the headphones to a personalized preference, giving music and movie more layers, depth, and range. The app will also allow users to toggle on or off their personalized sound, update the firmware, and access user guides.

“Our Crusher ANC is without a peer in the market today, Improving on the famous sensory bass immersion of our industry-leading Crusher family, we have now added proprietary active noise cancellation and an industry-first personalization experience that no other headphone can match.  You won’t just hear your music, you’ll feel it like never before,” says Jason Hodell, Chief Executive Officer of Skullcandy.

Crusher ANC will have a 24-hour battery life with Rapid Charge Technology, meaning that a ten-minute charge can give you three hours of playback time. It will incorporate Tile tracker technology allowing you to easily locate them in the event you lose the headphones and will come with a handful of media controls including activating your smartphone’s assistant.

“With Crusher ANC, we wanted to recreate the energy and excitement of being at a live concert where you can literally feel the bass hits and hear every detail in the vocals or instrumentation.   Crusher ANC provides a deeply personal experience using modern headphone technologies combined in a new and unique way. Get ready to rediscover your music all over again,” commented Jeff Hutchings, Chief Product Officer at Skullcandy.

The Crusher ANC is available starting today and will retail for $319.99. It will debut in Deep Red and Fearless Black colorways, with an exclusive Black and Tan variance coming to Best Buy on October 6.
