Avengers: Endgame bonus clips released including emotional deleted scene

Avengers Endgame take a knee Avengers: Endgame

Avengers: Endgame was released in theaters on April 22nd, but fans will get the chance to own the movie very soon when it becomes available on 4K, Blu-ray and DVD on August 13, 2019. Between that timespan, the film has already become the #1 film of all time at the global box office, beating Avatar and sinking the Titanic. To celebrate the upcoming release, Marvel has released a bunch of bonus clips online including a deleted scene where the Marvel heroes are taking a knee, bloopers and behind-the-scenes footage.

Spoilers ahead if you haven’t seen Avengers: Endgame.

The first bonus clip features a deleted scene in which the Marvel superheroes are taking a knee to acknowledge the ultimate sacrifice Tony Stark has made. In the film, Stark used the Infinity Gauntlet to undo Thanos’ snap from Avengers: Infinity War. Using the gauntlet requires a lot on the body, and Stark knew that he needed to sacrifice himself to save billions of people.

The next clips released shows off the screen test for Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark. After seeing him in action, the team knew they had a winner.

The blooper footage is also released, and we get to watch the cast joking around on set. Yes, Chris Evans still isn’t fond of wearing the cowl that covers his ears.

One of the best-kept secrets from the film is seeing a new version of Thor. The cast talks about how Chris Hemsworth was excited to play a different Thor on the screen.

In addition to these bonus clips, the Avengers: Endgame Blu-ray will have extras like a tribute to Stan Lee, the evolution of Captain America, Black Widow’s story arc, the making of the battle scene with the women of Marvel, the Russo brothers’ experience directing both Infinity War and Endgame, deleted scenes and more. Early Digital owners will get an exclusive Steve and Peggy featurette.

Avengers: Endgame will be available on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD and On-Demand on August 13, 2019. If you want to own it earlier, you can get it on Digital in HD, 4K Ultra HD and Movies Anywhere on July 30, 2019.
