Amazon has been pretty confident with its shows, especially with The Boys getting renewed for a second season before the first one even aired. There’s plenty of new shows on the horizon, but it’s time to revisit the world of Jack Ryan with the release of the teaser trailer for Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan Season 2. Additionally, new key art has debuted.

The teaser trailer was released during Amazon Prime Video’s TCA session, and John Krasinski (A Quiet Place) returns as CIA Officer Jack Ryan.

The first season of Jack Ryan was riveting, especially with its portrayal of the main villain played by Ali Suliman. Audiences get to see his die of the story, and audiences get an understanding of why he does what he does, even if his actions are cruel. With season 2, here’s hoping for another antagonist who’s got a shade of grey.

Synopsis: In the second season of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, after tracking a potentially suspicious shipment of illegal arms in the Venezuelan jungle, CIA Officer Jack Ryan heads down to South America to investigate. As Jack’s investigation threatens to uncover a far-reaching conspiracy, the President of Venezuela launches a counter-attack that hits home for Jack, leading him and his fellow operatives on a global mission spanning the United States, UK, Russia, and Venezuela to unravel the President’s nefarious plot and bring stability to a country on the brink of chaos.

Joining Krasinski are Wendell Pierce (The Wire) as James Greer, Noomi Rapace (Prometheus) as Harriet ‘Harry’ Baumann and Michael Kelly (House of Cards) as Mike November.

The show is co-produced by Paramount Television and Skydance Television. Andrew Form, Brad Fuller, Michael Bay, John Krasinski, and Allyson Seeger are the executive producers. Carlton Cuse and Graham Roland, who are the creators for the series, also serve as executive producers. Joining them on season 2 as executive producers are Andrew Bernstein, Vince Calandra, David Graziano, Tom Clancy, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Marcy Ross, Mace Neufeld, Lindsey Springer, Dennie Gordon, and Phil Abraham.

Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan will premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
