Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts brings contract-based missions to Siberian wilderness

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts is an upcoming first-person sniping and stealth game from CI Games, the team behind the Sniper: Ghost Warrior series. Plenty of news came out during E3 2019 for the game including a new trailer. We even had the chance to get some hands-on with the game, and it’s looking to have all the right ingredients for fans of the action-stealth genre.

The new gameplay trailer released gives us a taste of the sniper action including slow motion kill shots.

In Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts, your sniper is placed in the Siberian wilderness where you will have to combat enemies and nature. The cold will affect you, so you will need to proceed with caution if you don’t want to freeze to death. Since this is a sniping game, enemies you eliminate will die in slow motion, making the kill feel even more satisfying.

Stealth is the key in this game, and alerting guards will make things miserable for you. Use your surrounding to your advantage, and take out enemies without alerting others. Of course, not all enemies are created equal, and there will be some wearing extra armor to make things a bit harder for you.

A new feature includes Rivals, where players will compete against rival contract killers. The AI-controlled killer will have the same contract as you, so you will need to plan fast if you want to be able to kill the target and escape enemy contact before all hell breaks loose. There’s also the option to eliminate the competition if you’re bloodthirsty for more kills.

In addition to the single-player campaign, Sniper Ghost Warrior will have multiplayer options.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC later this year.
