DC Universe’s SDCC panels and activities include Titans, Doom Patrol, Young Justice, Harley Quinn

DC Universe

DC is having a huge presence at San Diego Comic-Con despite Warner Bros. and DC skipping out on Hall H. There’s going to be a celebration of Batman’s 80th anniversary at The Batman Experience located at the Comic-Con Museum in Balboa Park. DC Universe, the DC digital subscription service, is also headed down with panels and activities. And fans attending will get to learn more about DC Universe’s Titans, Doom Patrol, Young Justice, and Harley Quinn. There are a total of 47 DC-related panels at SDCC, and the DC/WB booth (#4545) is the largest booth in the whole convention floor.

You can check out the 2-hour DC Universe panel on Saturday night for sneak peeks, first looks and exclusive screenings for Titans, Doom Patrol, Young Justice: Outsiders and the upcoming adult-animated comedy series Harley Quinn. It’ll be held on July 20th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Indigo Ballroom at the Hilton Bayfront.

DC Universe launched last year, and it had a huge presence during San Diego Comic-Con 2018. There was a giant activation located near the San Diego Gaslamp area, and it featured different activations for Titans, Swamp Thing, and Harley Quinn. One of our favorite activities was the Harley Quinn room where fans were able to go crazy with a baseball bat inside a room filled with paint materials. I was able to check it out last year, and I accidentally slipped and fell. Don’t worry, I’m still okay, but let this be a lesson to always be careful. (I did sign a waiver.)

There are giant booths at the convention center like Marvel, Hasbro, Sideshow and LEGO, but the biggest of them all is the WB/DC booth. (See below on the top left corner.) This year, the DC/Warner Bros. booth (#4545) will be located near Artists’ Alley near the entertainment section of the convention center. There will be DCU giveaways, artist signings, and a Harley Quinn experience.

Here’s the description of the Harley Quinn experience:

Get an immersive glimpse into the world of the highly-anticipated, upcoming adult-animated comedy series Harley Quinn in a special booth activation that takes fans inside the comically twisted world of the new series with an Arkham interactive tour.

If you purchase an annual DC Universe membership on-site and online, you’ll get an exclusive gift set of four limited-edition comic books with new variant covers including Young Justice: Outsiders #1, Detective Comics #1000, Saga of Swamp Thing #21, and Doom Patrol #19. DCU members will get the chance to collect original series print each day in the redemption area by artists Doaly, Cliff Cramp, Chris Thornley, and Ruiz Burgos.

Oh, and there’s more. Members will also have the chance to receive giveaways and attend exclusive events:

  • An all-inclusive trip to San Diego awarded in a sweepstake through the DC UNIVERSE service
  • Passes to the exclusive screening of the premiere of DC Spotlight: Shazam, a behind-the-scenes documentary
  • VIP tickets to attend Batman’s induction into the Comic-Con Museum Hall of Fame
  • Access to sign-up for a members-only signing with Jim Lee, world-renowned comic book artist, writer, editor and Publisher of DC
  • A chance to attend a private, DCU member brunch on a yacht in the San Diego Marina with surprise talent appearances and special giveaways

Stay tuned. More information to be revealed here.
