D23 Expo 2019 to showcase future projects from Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, Disney+ and more

D23 Expo is going to be back this year at the Anaheim Convention Center, and it will be held on August 23-25. It looks like Marvel Studios is skipping out on San Diego Comic-Con this year in favor of the Disney event. D23 Expo has announced its schedule, with the big panels including one dedicated to Disney+ and another on all the films under Walt Disney Studios.

Starting on Friday morning is the Disney Legends Awards Ceremony with host Bob Iger, the CEO of Disney. Later that day will be the Disney+ panel, which will showcase the upcoming movies and series from its streaming service. (The service launches in the U.S. on November 12th.) Saturday morning is another huge one with The Walt Disney Studios sneak peek of films under Disney, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar, Marvel Studios, and Lucasfilm. Sunday morning will have previews of what fans can expect from Disney Parks with host Bob Chapek, the chairman of Disney Parks.

These panels will be located inside Hall D23, which is at the Anaheim Convention Center’s Hall D. It will have 6,800 seats.
