Skullcandy launches new immersive campaign called 12 Moods

Skullcandy, one of the original companies that brought a lifestyle to audio products, is launching a new campaign to celebrate how music makes us all feel. “12 Moods” is a groundbreaking program that will celebrate the visceral and emotional power that music has. Each month, 12 Moods will highlight a different mood that is stimulated by listening to music. Skullcandy will bring that mood to life, to its devoted fans through exclusive music/artist content, featured athlete stories, and limited-edition product drops.

12 Moods officially kicks off today by celebrating the mood “Bold,” which is to honor women’s extraordinary achievements. March is Women’s history month, a time for us to recognize, commemorate, and educate the vital roles women had in American history. To showcase this bold feeling, Skullcandy has enlisted the strong and energetic rapper Rico Nasty, as well as the young and accomplished professional skateboarder Jenn Soto.

“To us, music is all about feeling and nothing affects our moods like music. The ‘12 Moods’ initiative is our unique way of celebrating those moods with Skullcandy fans,” said Jessica Klodnicki, Chief Marketing Officer of Skullcandy.

Tangerine is the color that will be representing Bold for the kickoff of 12 moods. Rico Nasty will be performing in a live studio that will be drenched in tangerine and will be paired with a profile of Jenn Soto. The new Skullcandy Push true wireless earbuds will also be showcased in its new Bold Tangerine colorway. Rico Nasty’s unapologetic and emotional lyrics, along with Jenn Soto’s wicked and carefree moves have made them the perfect ambassadors to kick of the campaign. They showcase how bold and fearless women can truly be, which is why “Bold” is the ideal way to start the beginning of this multi-faceted and energetic movement.

In the next coming months, Skullcandy will draw on the mood “Elevated” for April, “Fresh” for May, and “Empowered” for June. With more moods, colors, artists, and athletes being announced as the program moves forward.
