Aquaman final trailer dives deep into the hero’s past

Today, Warner Bros. has released the final trailer to Aquaman, the upcoming DC film starring Jason Momoa as the titular character. That includes going on a journey with Mera, a powerful Atlantean, in search of a trident that contains the power of Atlantis.

Arthur Curry is half-human, half-Atlantean and will have to travel far and wide to stop Orm from executing his plan of wreaking havoc. He’ll have to search for a powerful trident and prove that he is worthy of becoming a king.

The film is directed by James Wan and penned by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick (The Conjuring 2) and Will Beall (Gangster Squad) from a story by Geoff Johns & James Wan and Will Beall.
