Fillion even shared an image of the rapper Drake with the caption: “Sic Parvis Magna.” It’s a Latin phrase meaning “so great and so small” and is Sir Francis Drake’s motto.

The cats out of the bag, and it turned out to be a live-action Uncharted fan film by director Allan Ungar. Check out the 15-minute short below.

Many fans have been entertaining the idea that Fillion would be a great fit for Drake if there ever was a movie. For one thing, the character looks just like the actor. And the other thing is that they both have the same quick quips and humor. With this short film, Fillion does a perfect job of portraying Drake. However, it would seem that Sony has other plans for the series, especially since they hired Tom Holland (Spider-Man: Homecoming) as young Drake for the upcoming film.

Hopefully, this short film will become really huge and viral, convincing Sony that an Uncharted movie starring Fillion would be a wise choice.

The fan film also stars Stephen Lang as Sully, Geno Segers as Diego, Mircea Monroe as Elena, and Ernie Reyes Jr (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, Surf Ninja) as El Tigre. It is written by Allan Ungar and Jesse Wheeler.
