The battle royale genre has been very popular as of late, with Fortnite and PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds) becoming really popular with lots of gamers. Since PUBG isn’t available for the PlayStation 4 currently, it looks like Daybreak Games’ H1Z1: Battle Royale has filled that void. The video game company has announced today that its battle royale shooter has been played by more than 10 million PlayStation 4 users since the game’s launch on May 22, 2018.

Over 102 million hours have been logged for the H1Z1’s first month of Open Beta, and players will be getting a treat with the free Darkfire Pickup Truck and Sunrise Parachute in-game skin. To receive the items, players must have played H1Z1 before Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at 11:59 p.m. PT. If you have played it before then, then the item should be added to your inventory this weekend.

In addition, there are new game updates for the PS4 H1Z1 including the Revive mechanics, aim acceleration adjustments, and a new weapon (Airstrike Signal) that allows players to call in a series of bombs to drop on enemies.

And if you’re a PC player, a new map has been introduced this week, which is the remastered Z1 8km by 8km map known as Outbreak. It is available in  Solos, Duos, and Fives. You can check out the details of the new PC map below.

Synopsis – H1Z1: Battle Royale is a fast-paced, competitive battle royale shooter. Parachute in and search for weapons, ammo, vehicles, and supplies to stay alive. As toxic gas compresses the map, develop a winning strategy and prepare for the final showdown.
