E3 2018: Master Chief is back in Halo Infinite

Microsoft kicked off their Xbox Media Briefing at this year’s E3 with a bang. They teased fans and gamers alike with the announcement and small peak at the upcoming Halo Infinite. It’s been almost 3 years since the release of Halo 5: Guardians, and everyone has been in anticipation of when the next iteration will be starring their favorite, Master Chief.

There hasn’t been much details released regarding the new title, but 343 has stated in a blog post that “The team also heard feedback loud and clear on the amount of time spent playing as the Master Chief in Halo 5. In Halo Infinite, the game will focus on the Master Chief and continue his saga after the events of Halo 5.” This comes after many players had issues with splitting time between playing Commander Locke and Master Chief, as opposed to going through the entire campaign as the latter.

There’s no word yet on a release date, but we anticipate it will probably be around Fall 2019. Check out the trailer for yourself below. Are you excited to see Master Chief return in a new Halo? Let us know in the comments below.
