‘Ant-Man & the Wasp’ set photos surface of Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly

Ant-Man and the Wasp - SDCC 2017 Poster

I’m not going to lie: I’m not a fan of the first Ant-Man film. It doesn’t have anything to do with the property or the story; I just don’t like Paul Rudd. Never have, never will. Whether it’s his forced awkward humor or his deadpan delivery of  serious lines, one will never know. Either way, ya’ll can have Paul. Now Evangeline Lilly, on the other hand…

It seems that little birdies have been working hard at trying to get peeks at the sequel to 2015’s mediocre Marvel film, and time has finally paid off. Earlier today Just Jared had been going full ham on snapping as many pictures as they could so fans could get a few glimpses of the titular superhero and Evangeline Lilly’s character, the Wasp. Well, one picture turned to two, and two to five, and five turned into fifty. So yeah, there’s fifty photos of the two, as they walk the Atlanta movie set. You can check all the photos out by clicking here.

Production had began a few months ago in August, as information on the film’s premise and storyline had not really been divulged. The film, directed by Peyton Reed, brings back the acting chops of Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lilly, alongside of new faces to the franchise, such as Hannah John-Kamen, Laurence Fishburne, Walton Goggins, and Randall Park. Also joining the cast will be the fabulous Michelle Pfeiffer, who will play Janet van Dyne, wife of Douglas’s Dr. Hank Pym.

Here’s the official synopsis of the film:

“In the aftermath of Captain America: Civil War, Scott Lang (Rudd) grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne (Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas) with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from their past.”
