First reactions for Thor: Ragnarok are looking good
It’s crazy to think that the Marvel Cinematic Universe have already gone through 16 films since 2008. So far, all of the MCU films have been well-received by both the audiences and at the box office alike. We’re still a month out from the official release of the 17th MCU film, Taika Waititi‘s Thor: Ragnarok, but it seems that Marvel has another hit on their hands. This comes courtesy of a series of tweets from the first press screenings that have been happening. It seems that everyone is on the same page, stating that the film is both hilarious and the best Thor film yet. Check out what some had to say below:
After seeing #ThorRagnarok I can say that @chrishemsworth’s Thor will become many people’s No.1 favorite Avenger. The guy shines in this.

Thor Ragnarok is one of the funniest Marvel Studio movies thus far, definitely the best Thor film. Loved Mark Mothersbaugh’s score.

Thor: Ragnarok is just plain fun. It's hilarious from start to finish with quirky performances & exciting action. Tessa Thompson is the MVP. pic.twitter.com/7GyYG4IZZ5

#ThorRagnarok is a ton of fun! Self-contained MCU plot, but character work is awesome, and the adventure a thrill. Best of the Thor movies! pic.twitter.com/tQ8DuCcwxM

#ThorRagnarok is SO much fun I almost can't take it. The best: Thor movie, Cate Blanchett scene stealing, Jeff Goldblum Goldblum-ing.

THOR RAGNAROK is hilarious & weird & offbeat & retro & sublime. Love how Marvel let Taika Waititi make a movie that's Waititi-ish as hell.

#ThorRagnarok is laugh out loud funny from start to finish. Stumbles a bit in the first act, but it triumphs when it gets weird with it.

Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Tom Hiddleston (Loki) return in Thor: Ragnarok. Joining them will be Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie) and Mark Ruffalo (Hulk) going up against the powerful Goddess of Death herself, Cate Blanchett (Hela). Hela has brought the apocalypse called Ragnarok, and it’s up to our heroes to save all of Asgard. Thor: Ragnarok also stars Idris Elba (Heimdall), Jeff Goldblum (Grandmaster), Karl Urban (Executioner), and Anthony Hopkins (Odin). The film will hit theaters on November 3.
If you’re unsure of exactly who Hela is, check out this great featurette that gives a glimpse of the Goddess of Death.
