Have a drink and meal courtesy of Kingsman: The Golden Circle at SDCC

Twentieth Century Fox is coming to SDCC for the anticipated Kingsman sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle and are giving fans the opportunity to enjoy a drink and meal on them! The Kingsman Happy Hour is heading to the Hard Rock Hotel – Bar 207 from 4 pm – 7 pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

The Happy Hour will provide visitors with a Poppy Burger and/or a fine Statesman cocktail (must be 21 and over). The Poppy burger – named after the new villain in the film, played by Julianne Moore – will be available for hungry fans.

According to EW, director Matthew Vaughn describes Poppy as “Martha Stewart on crack,” a ruthless entrepreneur who operates from a re-created 1950s Main Street in the deep jungle. It’s her beloved Americana that she would like to bring back again.” It’s no wonder that the commercial, provided by IGN, shows Poppy in a 1950s style setting. “She’s taken over the global drug business and wants to be on the Forbes list,” Vaughn continues. “She has a speech where she goes, ‘Sugar is 10 times more addictive than cocaine. It causes more death and misery in America. Yet one is legal. Peddle that s— and you’re in the Forbes 500. Peddle coke and you’re in jail. What the f—!’ So the points she’s making are not insane.”

The Kingsman: The Golden Circle panel will also be at Hall H this Thursday, July 20th at 11 am with actors Taron Egerton, Colin Firth, Halle Berry, Channing Tatum, Jeff Bridges and Pedro Pascal, screenwriter Jane Goldman, and Kingsman co-creator Dave Gibbons in attendance.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle official synopsis:

With their headquarters destroyed and the world held hostage, members of Kingsman find new allies when they discover a spy organization in the United States known as Statesman. In an adventure that tests their strength and wits, the elite secret agents from both sides of the pond band together to battle a ruthless enemy and save the day, something that’s becoming a bit of a habit for Eggsy.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle opens in theaters on September 22nd, 2017.
