Reporter panics on new Guardians of the Galaxy ride at Disneyland

Guardians of the Galaxy ride
Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout is the new drop tower attraction at Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort. It’s been a controversial ride since its inception due to it replacing Tower of Terror. With this in mind, many fans have been sharing their dissatisfaction online that the old-school Hollywood ride is being replaced. Will new fans outnumber the old fans? We’ll find out as the park continues to operate the attraction. However, for some fun, Fresno’s ABC30 has sent its own reporter to check out the new Guardians of the Galaxy ride, and his reaction is definitely the highlight of this video.

Let’s give Cory James a hand! He gives off a few high-pitched screams as the people around him are enjoying the Guardians of the Galaxy ride. Throughout the experience, it seems as if he’s fainting, or closing his eyes and looking down to prevent further screaming. The news anchors’ reactions are also fun to watch as they try to maintain some professionalism. Clearly, they are enjoying seeing their colleague suffer.

Our very own Mark Pacis and Narvin Seegoolam also got the chance to ride the new attraction.

“After 5 hours, we finally rode the ride! It may be my fanboyism, but it’s everything that I expected,” Mark said.

Mark and Narvin can be seen with both hands in the air in the middle left. As for the guy in the middle back giving a thumb down, is that a sign of his disapproval? Other than that, everyone else seems to be having a blast.

Disney California Adventure guests will be able to check out the Guardians of the Galaxy ride now. However, they should anticipate a very, very long line.

For those who still want to go on the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror ride, they can still do so at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort.
