Frank Underwood knows what’s best in season 5 official trailer of House of Cards

After an insanely powerful season four last year, the time is upon us to see what Frank and Claire have in store for the American people in the next chapter of Netflix’s House of Cards. Like we need more political drama.

I must admit, I was a bit concerned after season 3, as it seemed to drag more than it moved. So, needless to say, I tiptoed into season 4 with a bit of hesitancy. Well, season 4 fixes every one of the issues I had, and now with what I’ve seen, I’m so ready for what season 5 has to offer!

“The American people don’t know what’s best for them…I do.”

Netflix has released the official trailer for the upcoming season of their political drama that has taken viewers by storm, House of Cards.

The trailer is so chock full of hints and clues of what to expect in the upcoming roller coaster ride, as with this upcoming “campaign,” Frank bares his teeth with the upcoming election, as he likens the citizens of the Nation to little children, ranting on why they need him.

“Lucky for them, they have me…”

The clip is highlighted with several snippets of the 2016 presidential campaign, pitting current President Underwood against Republican nominee Will Conway, as Frank continues to speak about his “children” through his Southern smokey tone. The trailer has a very familiar look to it, showcasing all the things that scare/excite us about the Underwoods, as well as series.

As the clip comes to its two-minute ending, we find our President proudly stating to himself, “Underwood 2016, 2020, 2024, 2028, 2032, 2036. One nation, Underwood.”

Who would’ve thought that politics were so empowering? Check out the trailer below!
