Star Wars Celebration delivers touching tribute to Carrie Fisher

During the Star Wars Celebration today in Orlando, the cast of the original trilogy were on stage talking about how the films changed their lives at the 40 Years of Star Wars panel. Of course, the topic of Carrie Fisher came up as the cast and creatives reminisced on Fisher’s contributions and life. In the middle of the event, Fisher’s daughter, Billie Lourd, came out to present a special tribute to her late mother.

In this touching tribute, we see Carrie Fisher at her finest as Princess Leia and as her lovable self. The video then concluded with a sweet live performance of “Leia’s Theme,” conducted by John Williams.

The room, and audiences watching the live stream, were in tears. It has been four months since the veteran actress tragically passed away back in December. She will be remembered always.
