Colossal’s new poster will leave you scratching your head… in a good way

The upcoming NEON film by Nacho Vigalondo about a woman in a small American town being able to control a monster in South Korea has us a bit confused, but with the talents of Anne Hathaway and Jason Sudeikis, it may be the best monster movie of this year. The film has released their official poster, which looks pretty cool.

If you don’t understand the image, the monster in South Korea mirrors anything that Gloria (played by Hathaway) does. So, if Gloria scratches her head, so does the monster. We don’t know why, but it’s a pretty weird and interesting concept.

Check it out below:

Official synopsis:

Gloria (Anne Hathaway) is an out-of-work girl who, after getting kicked out of her apartment by her boyfriend, is forced to leave her life in New York and move back to her hometown. When news reports surface that a giant creature is destroying Seoul, South Korea, Gloria gradually comes to the realization that she is somehow connected to his far-off phenomenon. As events begin to spin out of control, Gloria must determine why her seemingly insignificant existence has such a colossal effect on the fate of the world.
