‘Black Panther’ concept art gives us our first look at Wakanda

Just like the Wakandan nation itself, Black Panther is shrouded in mystery. We don’t know much about Ryan Coogler’s film other than the film’s cast and synopsis. Thanks to Doctor Strange‘s “Marvel Studios Phase 3” featurette, we have our very first look at Black Panther. Check it out!

I must say I’m digging the fusion between the jungle and a modern metropolitan city. Something about it just screams Wakanda to me.

What do you think of Wakanda so far? Sound off with your thoughts in the comments section below!

Black Panther stars Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Michael B. Jordan, Martin Freeman, Forest Whitaker, Andy Serkis, Daniel Kaluuya, Florence Kasumba, John Kani, Letitia Wright, Angela Bassett, Sterling K. Brown, and Winston Duke.

“Black Panther” follows T’Challa who, after the events of “Captain America: Civil War,” returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to take his place as King. However, when an old enemy reappears on the radar, T’Challa’s mettle as King and Black Panther is tested when he is drawn into a conflict that puts the entire fate of Wakanda and the world at risk.

Black Panther hits theaters on February 16, 2018.
