Nassau right now is at a crossroads. The battle is far from over with Flint planning on gathering more troops from the slaves on the island. Billy finally shows his true side and fully separates from Flint, though the timing is wrong for both parties. The pirates need each other, and with this divide, even with the slaves Flint won’t be able to succeed without Billy’s influence over Nassau. Rogers at this point only needs to reach Port Royal, a close location for him to pull Teach to allow Eleanor to reach her grandfather. If she succeeds in her trip and her plea for help, Rogers will be provided with the means to end piracy on Nassau for good. 8 episodes remain for the final season of Black Sails, and it’s full of betrayal and tension that is building up to an explosive end. Only one side will remain on top, and with several sides rising and fighting for Nassau, it could be anyone at this point.
