First look at the ladies of ‘Ocean’s 8’

Ocean’s 11 exuded a sense of style and cool that no other film could really replicate. The 1960s version featured the Rat Pack while the 2001 remake featured some of the best male actors working in Hollywood today. Now, it’s time for the ladies to get their turn as Warner Bros just released the very first look at Gary Ross’ (The Hunger GamesOcean’s 8 reboot/spinoff.

Much like both Ocean films, Ocean’s 8 features some of the best female actors that are working in Hollywood today. Oscar winner Sandra Bullock stars in the title role along with two other Oscar winners, Cate Blanchett and Anne Hathaway. Also starring in the film is Oscar nominee Helena Bonham Carter, Golden Globe winner Sarah Paulson, Mindy Kaling, Rihanna, and Awkwafina. Hopefully, Gary Ross can exude the same amount of cool that was found in the other Ocean‘s films. Check it out!

“In summer 2018, the tide will turn as (left to right) Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock) attempts to pull off the heist of the century at New York City’s star-studded annual Met Gala. Her first stop is to assemble the perfect crew: Lou (Cate Blanchett); Nine Ball (Rihanna); Amita (Mindy Kaling); Constance (Awkwafina); Rose (Helena Bonham Carter); Daphne Kluger (Anne Hathaway); and Tammy (Sarah Paulson).”

Rumor has it that Sandra Bullock will be play Danny Ocean’s sister and that George Clooney himself will have a major supporting role in the film as well as the group’s mentor. In addition to that, Matt Damon is also rumored to make an appearance as Linus Caldwell.
