Batman LEGO stop-motion short captures ’90s Batman cartoon opening

The LEGO Batman Movie is coming next month, and the hype machine is getting bigger and bigger. Kyle Roberts and Nathan Poppe have teamed up to give us their take on the ’90s Batman: The Animated Series opening credits as a stop-motion animated LEGO video.

The fan project required over 1,000 photos, 40 hand-drawn backgrounds and over 300 hours of work. Belgium composer Joris Hermy contributes with the score.

The LEGO Batman Movie hits theaters on February 10th.
