Warner Bros. planning Suicide Squad sequel and Deadshot movie

Suicide-Squad

Despite Suicide Squad receiving poor reviews, Warner Bros. is still planning to go ahead with a sequel. Why not? Suicide Squad has made a lot of money for the studio, and critics bashing the film isn’t going to stop them. Not only that, but it is also planning on a Deadshot spin-off with Will Smith probably returning, according to a report by THR.

With talks about a possible sequel and spin-off, the one project that is taking priority is Gotham City Sirens since in that same report, David Ayer and Margot Robbie will be teaming up together again.

With Ayer working on Gotham City Sirens, will he get a chance to helm the Suicide Squad sequel? It still too early to tell.

In the meantime, Warner Bros will be busy with its other projects coming sooner like Wonder Woman, The Batman, Aquaman, The Flash, Cyborg, and the two Justice League films.

Suicide Squad has grossed over $745 million domestically and has become the top 13th superhero movie.
