Resident Evil 7: Beginning Hour now available on Xbox One

The first playable demo for Capcom’s Resident Evil 7 is now available to Xbox One users via Microsoft’s Xbox Live store.

The demo has been massively successful on Playstation 4 – with many fans still combing every inch of the demo’s play space for further information on the final game. Capcom has confirmed that there are numerous secrets and Easter eggs within the demo for players to uncover, and it keeps players coming back to discover them.

On PlayStation 4, the demo also received a “Twilight” and “Midnight” update that opened up more areas of the house, allowed access to more items, and perhaps most crucially – teased even more secrets. It stands to reason that those same updates will also follow for Xbox One users.

You can download the demo here, or through your Xbox One console’s store menu.

The full Resident Evil 7 game is set for a January 24, 2017 release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
