Marvel’s Iron Fist is coming to Netflix in 2017, and it’s looking like ABC and Marvel are already happy with what showrunner Scott Buck has done to the upcoming series. How so? They have Buck on board as the showrunner for Marvel’s The Inhumans.

The Inhumans will be making its premiere on IMAX with the first two episodes (both being filmed entirely with IMAX digital cameras), and then it will be airing on ABC afterwards. The will be the first live-action TV series to premiere on IMAX, and it will be exclusive for two weeks starting Labor Day weekend 2017.

Buck has been the showrunner for the last three seasons of Dexter, and he has also worked on Six Feet Under.

The Inhumans have been featured in Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD. It was originally planned as a film in the MCU

The series will focus on the Royal Family including Black Bolt, Medusa, and more. It’s based on the comic by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.
