First trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight is Bay-splosively good

Finally, Paramount has released the first trailer for the upcoming Transformers: The Last Knight, and damn does it look good. In the trailer, we see what appears to be a dead/deactivated Optimus Prime floating through space, but we’re not sure where exactly he’s floating to. It also seems that there is an artifact on Earth that might hold the key to returning Cybertron to its prior glory.

Despite all the action we see, there is one thing that stands out above everything else, and that is Bumblebee attacking Optimus, and Optimus proceeding to dismantle him while apologizing. I’m sure everyone is going to be wondering why Optimus does that to perhaps his closest ally, but we’ll just have to wait and see. Check out the trailer below for yourself.

Transformers: The Last Knight destroys theaters on June 23, 2017 and is directed by Michael Bay, and stars Mark Wahlberg, Laura Haddock, Anthony Hopkins, Josh Duhamel, Stanley Tucci, Isabela Moner, John Goodman, and John Turturro.
